  • To maintain an appropriate database for the district this may be required for various planning exercises aimed at the UPE/UEE/NLM goals and for monitoring progress towards these goals.
  • To provide technical assistance to educational authorities in:
    • school mapping.
    • Micro planning for UPE/AUEE in an area specific and target group specific manner.
    • formation and activation of school complexes, schools etc 
    • Institutional evaluation.
  • To serve as the nodal branch in relation to all programmes of community involvement in basic education, and in particular, to conduct orientation programmes for members of DBE, VECs, community leaders, youth and other voluntary educational workers.
  • To act as the nodal branch for preparing quin-quennial and annual institutional plans and annual self evaluation reports for the DIET, and for liaising with DBE.

Several Planning& Management training programmes and workshops were attended, conducted and co-ordinated by Lecturer of the P&M Branch.

5 Training on Zero Waste Management for Primary School Teachers Block, School Wise Primary School Teachers details were collected from Erode, Gobi and Tiruppur Education District  and allotted centers strength  for three spells.
6 Training on Disaster Management for BRTEs, D.El.Ed Students & High Higher Secondary School Teachers Block wise BRTEs and Block, School Wise High and Higher Secondary  School Teachers details were collected from Erode, Gobi and Tiruppur Education District  and allotted centers strength and also arranged Experts from Various dept for this training
7 Training on VITAL – Value Integrated Teaching and Learning for Upper Primary School Teachers Block, School Wise Middle School Teachers details were collected from Erode, Gobi and Tiruppur Education District  and allotted centers strength
8 Refresher Training on CCE- VI,VII,VIII &IX Block wise 9th Std Handling Teachers details were collected from Erode, Gobi and Tiruppur Education District and allotted centers strength. Block wise 6,7and 8th Std Handling Teachers details were collected from Erode, Gobi and Tiruppur Education District for further training process.
9 Annual Work Plan Budget for year 2016-17 Prepared work plan Budget for various training planned for the teachers, WIFS, Onsite Support, Action Research, Building Renovation work and also for new construction of buildings etc.,
10 SSE Training for DIET Attended training and involved in the verification work of private TTI students attendance and Staff approval work.
11 NAS work for 3rd and 8th Std students in Erode District. AR work, Onsite support. Involved in NAS work at block level in Thalavady, T.N.Palayam and Bhavani Sagar Blocks. Visited Schools for action Research. During visit time Pretest, Treatment and Post Test were conducted for the collection data towards Action research.
